I know PHP gets a lot of hate(but lets be honest… it is still all love)… but I have to say, it may be one of my favourite languages.
As one of my favourite CMS is WordPress, it was only natural that I begin to delve into PHP more and more. I know feel very confident in my PHP. Having writen many plugins and themes (Some of which were not your run of the mill plugins either, I might add).
I know that I still have a lot more to learn. But I feel confident enough for near any challenge regarding this language.
